SUMMARY:Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships
DESCRIPTION:Classroom 4082 \nForeign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships (FLAS) is intended for students interested in studying a modern foreign language that is less commonly taught (e.g.\, Portuguese\, Arabic\, Japanese\, among many others) with a focus on a world region.  Academic Year FLAS offers students a $15\,000 stipend plus tuition and fees and summer FLAS supports intensive language learning for a minimum of six weeks.
