SUMMARY:Carolina Law Book Roundtable: Law & Inequality
DESCRIPTION:On January 26th\, an esteemed group of scholars will participate in the 2024 Carolina Law Roundtable on Law & Inequality.\nThe roundtable was organized by and will be led by Henry P. Brandis Distinguished Professor of Law Eisha Jain\, who explained “The Roundtable brings together scholars working on these topics from different perspectives and disciplines within the law. All of the scholars presenting have been developing these ideas for years; it’s exciting to read the manuscripts and see how the work has evolved over time. My hope is that this gathering furthers scholarship development while fostering connections across legal disciplines.” \nThe books-in-progress presented at the 2024 roundtable will cover a range of topics at the intersection of law and inequality\, including criminal law\, law and democracy\, access to courts\, race and the law\, and more.
