DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand\, alumni are invited to join the Law Alumni Association and the Office of Advancement for another installation of the virtual Law and Literature Alumni Book Club\, featuring UNC School of Law’s Professor Patricia L. Bryan and Professor John V. Orth. \nFeaturing Professor Orth’s short story from 2010\, entitled Self Defense\, this selection begins with a daily dog walk and leads its readers into deep thoughts around the state of American law and happenings in today’s society. A discussion around this story will be modeled after Professor Bryan’s popular Law & Literature class at Carolina Law\, and alumni will be able to submit questions for Professor Orth to answer about his work.
