Carrie Clifford joined the UNC School of Law staff in July 2019 as the Director of Alumni and Donor Relations. In her role, her main goal is to engage Carolina Law alumni, friends, and donors by developing, creating, managing, and evaluating communications, events, programs, and service opportunities. She also serves as the staff liaison for the Law Alumni Association Alumni Board and works closely with other law school departments to further alumni engagement. A Charlotte, NC, native, Clifford is a 2009 graduate from UNC Chapel Hill, where she majored in Sociology. Prior to joining the law school, she worked as the director of membership for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte; the director of alumni engagement for Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity; and the coordinator of affinity networks for UNC Charlotte. In the fall of 2018, she received her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the National Events Industry Council as well. A huge Tar Heel basketball fan, she loves being in Chapel Hill and working for her alma mater.
