SUMMARY:ABCs of Banking Law
DESCRIPTION:The ABCs of Banking Law is an annual continuing legal education program presented by the Center for Banking and Finance that focuses on the basics of banking law for lawyers. This program introduces the banking law regulatory structure. It is designed for young attorneys and those who desire a basic framework in banking law\, including in-house bank attorneys who do not work directly on bank regulatory issues\, and business lawyers who want to understand how banking law impacts the banks with which their clients interact. Others who might benefit from the program include bank examiners and risk and compliance professionals. \nThe North Carolina Banking Institute Journal will be published in the spring. All those registered for the program will receive a copy of the journal. \n7 hours CLE Credit: Approved

DESCRIPTION:Register by Friday May 24\, 2024   \nPlease join Dean Martin H. Brinkley ‘92 for an alumni reception in Charlotte with current students working in the Charlotte area this summer and admitted students for fall 2024. Join fellow alumni\, meet current students and admitted students\, and learn about the exciting things happening in the halls of Van Hecke Wettach Hall. We hope to see you on May 30 for an evening for the entire Carolina Law community.   \nPlease consider signing up to serve as a Carolina Connector when completing your registration. Carolina Connectors will be paired with a student attendee at the reception to extend a warm Tar Heel welcome and help foster new connections with other alumni in attendance.  \nRegistration is required.
