Jennifer De La Rosa
Director of Business Operations, Center for Banking and Finance
Biography
Jennifer is the Director of Business Operations for The Center for Banking and Finance. She provides support for the Center in the form of program planning and logistics, communication management, budget oversight and financial requests, and a full range of administrative actions. Jennifer moved from New Jersey where she managed a family landscaping business. She worked at the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School system before completing her B.A. in Geography at UNC-Chapel Hill. She did research with that department which earned her the Melinda S. Meade Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research. In January 2016 her work was published in Environmental Conservation and titled: “Sympathy for the environment predicts green consumerism but not more important environmental behaviours related to domestic energy use.” Following graduation, she was an environmental GIS intern with the Southern Environmental Law Center. Jennifer worked at the UNC Energy Frontier Research Center before coming to the law school where she started with the Career Development Office before joining the Center for Banking and Finance.
