Global Opportunities

Students at Supreme Court

In an increasingly global world, practical experience and knowledge of international law and the legal systems and cultures of other nations are indispensable for lawyers, legal scholars and law students alike.

It’s more than just studying international law – it is about immersing our students in the intellectual, social, educational environment and cultures of other countries. It’s this type of a global mindset that gives students the tools, awareness and understanding to navigate the legal system and cultural differences no matter where they go.

Thinking globally about legal issues and engaging in global educational experiences provides Carolina Law students with the foundational knowledge needed to prepare them for today’s future.

To do this, Carolina Law offers international courses, study abroad programs, summer programs, and extracurricular activities and events to ensure students can explore a variety of global opportunities.
