The UNC Law Alumni Association invites all Carolina Law alumni back to Chapel Hill on November 15-17, 2024, for Law Alumni Weekend.
Bring your family, friends and encourage fellow classmates to come back to Chapel Hill for THE ONLY event that brings together all alumni, students, faculty and staff for a fall weekend of activities for all ages in celebration and support of UNC School of Law.
Are you willing to get a group of your classmates together? Are you celebrating a milestone year?
- Please contact Louise Harris, Associate Dean for Advancement, at Louise.Harris@unc.edu, and we will provide you with your class list. Once you have 10 or more alumni confirmed for the weekend, the Office of Advancement will work with you to schedule a class specific gathering for Friday evening or Sunday brunch.
Law Alumni Weekend Highlights
November 15:
- 5:30-8:00pm | Law Alumni Weekend Welcome Reception, Rizzo Conference Center
- 7:00-8:00pm | Law Alumni Association Awards Presentation, Rizzo Conference Center

November 16:
- 3.5 hours prior to kick off | Briefing with Dean Martin H. Brinkley ’92, UNC School of Law
- 2.5 hours prior to kick off | Carolina Law Tailgate and Pre-Game Fun, School of Law Rotunda
- Gametime TBD | Carolina vs. Wake Forest, Kenan Memorial Football Stadium
- As soon as the athletic ticket office is able to confirm a Carolina Law block of tickets, a message will be sent to all alumni. Tickets will be limited, so please plan to make your reservation and purchase your tickets early. Those attending Saturday’s festivities will receive priority access to football tickets.
November 17:

November 15-17 promises to be a busy weekend in Chapel Hill and these room blocks are only held through October 10, 2024. Make your hotel reservations today to ensure your accommodations for Law Alumni Weekend 2024.

- The Hampton Inn and Suites in Carrboro ($140 a night and information forthcoming)
- Hyatt Place, when booking online, be sure to use corporate/group code G-SLAA. Call 800-233-1234 request the “UNC School of Law Alumni Weekend” group rate of $199/night for a Single King or $209/night for a 2-Queen, valid for stay dates of November 15-17, 2024. There is a 2 night minimum and the room block closes on October 25, 2024.
