The School of Law’s Academic Standards comply with standards set forth by faculty and our accrediting body, the American Bar Association.
The main 2025 updates are: use of numbering and headings to guide readers through the policies; incorporation of the grading system that took effect on August 1, 2025; and edits to account for recent developments such as UNC’s adoption in 2024 of the Student Code of conduct.
