• Orange & Chatham District Attorney Candidate Forum

On April 12, 2022, the Prosecutors and Politics Project hosted a candidate forum in advance of the primary election with the two democratic candidates vying for the open seat as the Orange & Chatham County District Attorney. Candidates shared their experience and platforms and took questions from community members.

On October 2, 2024, the Prosecutors and Politics Project co-hosted an event with speaker Jeff Nieman, Orange & Chatham County District Attorney. District Attorney Nieman shared perspectives and insights on his role in the criminal justice system and answered questions about what is it like to run the District Attorney’s Office.
