• If you’re going to be on campus after 5 and want to park at the school, you can use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking. More information can be found here.Information on pay lots can be found here. If you would like a permit:
  • After you are assigned a Person ID (PID) by main campus, log in to Transportation and Parking’s website here and enter information for all vehicles you may drive. The link to enter your vehicles can be found at the top of the page after logging in.
  • Permit pricing can be found here. The law school is considered “Non-Gated.” These prices are subject to change.
  • Fill out the information below and monitor your UNC email address for a request for payment from main campus.You will navigate back to the same website that you entered your vehicle information and should see an amount in your shopping cart. This must be paid ASAP or else Parking may remove the permit and we have to start over.

• Main campus has set up a Faculty Classroom Preparedness website that can be found here. This is the same link found on the QR codes located in each classroom. Please take time to familiarize yourself with the materials.
• Ensure you are signed up for safety alerts here. The link also provides instructions for the Carolina Ready Safety App.
• Alertus Desktop notification provides a notification to any computer that has installed the software and is on the UNC campus network (wired, wireless, VPN). All classroom desktops have this software. As long as the “System On” button has been pressed and the red light is on, the notification from Alertus will pop up on the screen and there will be an audible notification.
• Once formally hired and in active pay status, you can access law school resources here.

Payments are generally made February – May for spring semester and September through December for the fall semester.
Non-UNC Chapel Hill employees’ first payment may be delayed a month.

• Visit the UNC One Card website here for information on getting your One Card.
• It is recommended to bring your One Card whenever you are coming to the building. All exterior doors will require a OneCard 24/7 to access the building except the Portico entrance near the fountain.
• The Portico entrance will be unlocked Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
• When unlocking a door with your OneCard, hold your OneCard in front of the scanner for 3-4 seconds.
• To make sure your OneCard is current enough to unlock the doors, click here to go to the OneCard office’s instructions.
