The Witt Professionalism Roundtable is typically held on UNC’s campus each year. For this annual invitation only event, participating students, faculty, practicing attorneys and members of the judiciary are provided an ethical problem with the accompanying N.C. State Bar rules for professional conduct to review prior to the event. Over dinner, the problem and related issues are discussed and then students volunteer to share their group’s conclusions. The Witt Professionalism Roundtable is graciously funded by the Raymond B. Witt Professionalism Endowment and was established to give students the unique opportunity to discuss ethical issues with seasoned attorneys, judges and faculty members. Ninety minutes of professional responsibility CLE credit will be offered.
