Constitution Day Celebration with U.S. Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta

September 14, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Each year, UNC School of Law organizes the campus-wide Constitution Day celebration to commemorate September 17, the day on which the Constitution of the United States was signed. Constitution Day allows schools and colleges across the country to reflect on United States history, the deeper meanings within the Constitution and hopes it represents for the future.

The law school will celebrate the federal observance this year on September 14 with a fireside chat with United States Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta in the UNC School of Law Kathrine R. Everett Law Library at 4:00 p.m. Mary-Rose Papandrea, Samuel Ashe Distinguished Professor of Constitutional Law, will engage with Associate Attorney General Gupta about her career and service as well as her work as it relates to the Constitution. A reception will follow the discussion.
