SELA Presents: Practicing Entertainment Law in a Non-Major Market

On November 12, The Sports and Entertainment Law Association will be proud to host two entertainment lawyers who make the Triangle their home base for a discussion with UNC law students titled Practicing Entertainment Law in a Non-Major Market . Shawn Rogers Nolan of Shawn Nolan Law and Neil Schulman of Ploegsma & Schulman LLP will discuss how their legal careers lead to entertainment law, what brought them to North Carolina, and how they practice outside of the entertainment hubs of New York and Los Angeles. Both attorneys have found an uncommon home in the Chapel Hill area working with artists, musicians, songwriters, record labels, publishing companies, actors, social media influencers, industry executives, production companies and more. This event will surely be of interest to any law students interested in entertainment, music, or practicing any kind of law in a non-major market. Lunch will be provided.
