‘When They See Us, When We See Us’

Please come out and support BLSA, HLLSA, NLG, The Innocence Project, Lambda, and LSASDV as we organize a discussion that will focus on Ava Duvernay’s “When They See Us” documentary, Wrongful Convictions in North Carolina, and what we can do as future legal professionals to remedy this issue. We will be joined by Prosecutor(s), District Attorneys, Former Judges, Solo Practitioners, The North Carolina Innocence Project, and a person who was wrongly convicted. This program will feel more like a discussion than a panel, with the lead question being: What can WE do about this problem?
