Alisa Watson-Mebane

Biography
Watson-Mebane joined the Institute for Innovation in September 2022. She manages the Institute’s administration, finance, HR, facilities, marketing & communications, and IT needs. She assists the Clinical Programs Business Officer with the coordination of the student lottery process and manages the grant reporting for the Institute for Innovation. She also assists students and faculty with their administrative needs. Watson-Mebane has been a member of the UNC community since 2005. Before joining the Carolina Law’s Institute for Innovation, Watson-Mebane worked as an executive assistant at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, where she assisted the Division Chair, the Vice Chair, and the Associate Dean of Eastern NC. Watson-Mebane earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Strayer University, Raleigh, NC.
