Michael Briggs
Director of Development
Biography
Michael is Director of Development for Major Gifts and focuses on building connections with alumni and donors and raising funds to support the School’s mission to be both excellent and accessible. He received his B.A. from Wake Forest University and his Masters from Covenant Theological Seminary. Previously, he served as Executive Director and Chief Development Officer for The Chalmers Center, a nonprofit in Chattanooga, TN. Before that, he served as Executive Director of Third Millennium Ministries. A graduate of Wake Forest University, Michael serves on the boards of the WFU Alumni Council and the Association of Fundraising Professionals Triad Chapter. He holds a Master of Arts from Covenant Theological Seminary. Outside of work, Michael enjoys singing with the Winston-Salem Symphony Chorus and spending time with his three children.
