Biography
Emily Shuman (she/her/hers) is the Business Services Coordinator on the Student Development team. Shuman wears many hats, but examples of her primary responsibilities include overseeing student organization finance and purchasing, coordinating travel for Holdnerness Moot Court and Broun National Trial Team, managing the exam schedule for makeup exams and students with accommodations, and general Student Development support. You will often see her running around the law school with a catering cart during the lunch hour! Before joining Carolina Law in June 2022, Shuman spent 4 years working with a nonprofit undergraduate student organization on UNC’s main campus. Shuman graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2018 with degrees in Political Science and Music (Vocal Performance).
