The UNC School of Law Office of Communications ensures that school’s internal and external communications align with the school’s mission, its strategic plan objectives and effectively supports brand messaging. We engage with the media, departments within the law school and with schools and units across the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus.
We serve Carolina Law through the following services:
The office fosters relationships with local, state and national media outlets by distributing school news about students and faculty research, stories about our alumni and offering our faculty as experts on the most pressing issues in the news.
The office works with all law school departments to write, design, or work with vendors to produce brochures, newsletters, annual reports, flyers, postcards and other marketing pieces. The office also produces the school magazine twice a year and weekly newsletters, which highlights school research, accomplishments and events.
Website and Online Communications
The office is responsible for generating engaging online content for the website, social media, email campaigns and other digital marketing materials.
Video and Photography
The office documents the many school, student and alumni events through video and photography. This footage is used to connect with all of our constituencies—prospective students, currents students, alumni and the legal community.
